DESCRIPTION:Harley Osterlund returns for another night of live music in the #bearbottom307 bandshell! \nHarley’s career as a musician and entertainer started in 1998. He picked up the guitar at age 13\, giving him an activity during the hour-long bus rides too and from school. He’s worked with some of the biggest names in blues\, 80’s rock bands\, and country music before forming his own band.   \nIn 2017 he decided to retire his band and go solo with an acoustic guitar.  He formed an act called “Jukebox Hero”\, an acoustic-based “one man band” show taking request and performing his originals.  At 44 he shows no signs of slowing and still maintains his 250-300 a year tour schedule.

SUMMARY:Live Music: The Cold Winter
DESCRIPTION:Dean Shearer started the Cold Winter as a solo project in 2015\, when he began writing and performing songs. The Cold Winter has gone through various changes since then\, and now is a duo\, consisting of Dean Shearer and Lorissa Finchum.  \nTheir influences are far and wide. Some notable influences are Bon Iver\, Bob Dylan\, and Fleetwood Mac. Many of the duo’s lyrics deal with overcoming melancholy and sadness\, and presents to listeners a step in the direction of healing. Their music feels like the thawing out after a long cold winter\, hence the band’s name. The two sing in unison in order to create one\, bigger-than-life voice that neither of them could achieve on their own. Dean and Lorissa wish to remind everyone that even in our darkest night we need not fear\, because\, eventually\, our saving grace will climb down into the darkness and carry us back up into the light.  \nTo learn more about the Cold Winter\, visit their Facebook page TheColdWinterBand.
